A connection proposal reaches Verified when it accumulates 3 endorsements. Each endorser must provide an independent source that specifically documents the connection — not the existence of either endpoint in isolation.
Direct / self-evident connections (the source states the fact plainly — a transfer record, a membership roster, a birth certificate): endorsements alone suffice. No interpretive note is required — the source speaks for itself.
Structural connections (control, influence, infiltration, parallel structure): each endorser must also submit a verification note explaining the inferential chain — how the cited source establishes this specific type of relationship, not merely that the two entities coexist.
Objections are recorded publicly and weighed against endorsements in the discussion thread. They do not block verification automatically. If endorsements reach 3 with an open objection, the majority prevails. The objection remains on record as a permanent dissenting view. No moderator or arbiter is needed — the system resolves through weight of evidence and community participation.
A verified connection becomes eligible for migration to the corresponding global graph. Once merged, this page becomes a permanent record of the verification history.
